About

I hesitate to describe what I see or feel in my art. Because what I really want is to give the viewer an opportunity to find their own meaning in it. Something that always drew me to abstract art was the way they can feel like a rorschach test. We all see different things, sometimes simple shapes, sometimes complicated feelings, but I like to think that we’re seeing whatever we need to. Giving yourself the chance to use your own insight and imagination can often show us a reflection of something within ourselves. So, I will try to be vague while also sharing a glimpse into what I’m projecting onto the canvas. I almost always aim to bring a sense of warmth and comfort to what I’m painting. Each piece is an attempt to uncover and better connect with my deeper self. So, in some ways they feel like a light at the end of a tunnel to me; a guiding light in the dark.
